Yeah buddy!!!!

Probably won't make the team, but might be able to squeeze in if Manningham is put on the PUP list in the start of the season.

Seems like a strange signing to me. I was thinking there was still a chance we might get one in the draft. Heck maybe we will. But that if he makes the team this guy might get cut and his money would be wasted. So maybe we're not drafting one after all. Heck, what do I know?

He's just another STer, I doubt he really affects our draft strategy.

+1
Addressing a very important area somewhat neglected last year. And as someone already mentioned, nominal insurance just in case Mario and KW is slow out of the gates recouping. Even with his bit part, if someone Baalke likes at WR is available at the right value in the draft, I'm sure he'll go for it as it's just more competition/options with little to lose.

Oh, and this...

With the signings of Dawson, Skuta, Dahl and Moore. One thing is obvious. Trent Baalke was not a fan of the Special Teams last year.

It looks to me that the team has changed its strategy in acquiring special team talent. No more Blake Costanzos or Colin Joneses who serve strictly special team purposes, even if they do well in their specific roles. The team is looking for more versatility, the ability to perform well not just on special teams but in the offense and defense as well. Skuta, Dahl and Moore signings seem to indicate this. They have all showed some ability beyond special teams.
