The NFL announced that 16 teams would receive compensatory picks, none of which were the Carolina Panthers, Why? Seems to me like the rich got richer and the poor got jack! _________________

It's because we didn't lose anyone too valuable in FA. _________________

dan connor
legedu naanee
???
i don't think naanee made it through midseason with miami and dan connor barely played for dallas.
probably in better shape for next year w/ gary barnidge heading off to chudland as a likely starter and louis murphy maybe being the 3rd guy for the giants. though probably as 7ths. _________________

It was rumored that we could get picks for Mackenzey Bernadeau and Geoff Schwartz as well. Bernadeau was probably offset by Tolbert, and nobody else that we lost was that big of a contract either (to go along with play time, Bernadeau was the only real starter). |
