Im all in favour of bringing him back.
Even tho we shed some of Charlies cap hit more needs to come.
I would be okay with a K-Will cut here, to bring Winfield back & fit the rookies _________________

They aren't cutting Williams at this point, in my opinion; especially to bring back Winfield.
Why not just cut Williams from the beginning and keep Winfield if that is a logical potential step for them to take. _________________

Oh i agree, Williams isnt going anywhere at this point. Seems like the only way to open cap space would be to renegotiate contracts and move around money. _________________

According to NFL sources, there have been discussions between Antoine Winfield's agent, Ashanti Webb, and the Vikings about bringing him back. Winfield, 35, has gotten over the initial shock of the decision and apparently is willing to listen. But the 14-year veteran has multiple visits lined up with other NFL teams and it's unclear how much money the Vikings are willing to put on the table for a player they just let go. Exiting a coaches meeting on Sunday afternoon at the NFL meetings in the Arizona Biltmore Hotel, coach Leslie Frazier said he has spoken with Winfield since the veteran cornerback's surprise release on Tuesday and neither side is ruling out a reunion.
Frazier: "I'm hoping that we can figure out a way to get him back here. So, I'm hoping that it's not goodbye yet. Him and I talked a few days ago, before I came up here, and I don't want the door to be shut. So, we're going to still try to get something worked out -- if he's amicable to coming back."

encouraging that Winfield and Webb are at least listening. _________________

Im just saying its a possibilty.
They didnt know for a fact they were going to get Jennings.
Winfield was cut primarily for Load + other personel we took back.
At the end of the day, another move needs to be done.
Maybe the next one on the list is Kevin Williams.
I'm sure they want to restructure as the first option.
If not, he could be a logical cut, if Jared Allen does not want to renegotiate.
I dont expect us to be a player in any free agency other then Winfield.
We don't even know if cutting Giuon ($3M i think) would open up enough money for the Jennings/draft pick combination eventually, let alone adding Winfield. I haven't seen Jennings 1st year cap hit yet. _________________

Although he is scheduled to pay the Redskins a visit Wednesday, free agent cornerback Antoine Winfield is also considering offers from at least two other teams, according to a person with knowledge of the situation.
One of the teams interested in the services of the three-time Pro Bowl player is the Minnesota Vikings, Winfield’s employer for the last nine seasons. The Vikings released Winfield earlier this month because he was owed a salary of $7.25 million.
A person familiar with Winfield’s thinking said the 36-year-old defensive back has received “other offers.” Winfield is intrigued by the prospect of playing for the Redskins, but he might accept another offer and cancel his visit to Redskins Park, the person said. It wasn’t clear whether Winfield has scheduled visits with other teams.

Yes he did, but I wouldn't call him a Minnesota corner. He spent 4 years in Washington and then only two in Minnesota before going back.
Just a small semantic change _________________

3/4 of the Earth's surface is covered by water.
The rest is covered by Smoot's ego. _________________

Redskins is one of the places I would prefer he not go. I just don't like them, and we don't win I'd like Winfield to win,,, and I don't want washington to win. _________________

I find it ironic he goes to a team that just did the same thing to Deangelo Hall that we did to him. _________________
