You think he'll shiver a little every time Vince walks by him in the locker room?

It's not a bad signing at all. He torched us when we played him. Very athletic and fast for a guy his size. Could be a very good under the radar signing.

Million dollar body but a ten cent brain. I'd have preferred Nelson if they were going to sign a Bills receiver.

I have 2 favorites in this draft and Boyce is one of them. I don't see any comparison to Givens other than they both could play inside and out. IMO Boyce is more dynamic and has much more speed(4,3). Size wise Givens 6 ft Boyce 5.11.

Boyce from TCU is decent, he had easily the most misleading 40 time of the combine. He got caught from behind on a bunch of plays

How can an electronic time be misleading Confused

One would expect a guy who runs a 4.3 at the combine to have similar speed in games ?

4.3 combine times are top 10% there. Boyce does not have top 10% speed on the field. Doesnt look close from the - brief- sampling of him I have seen.

I get what NBT is saying. He has the speed, but he doesnt sustain it. One of the more common knocks on him is that some college corners too frequently were able to catch up to him in the open field (both after the catch and in recovery of a double move before the catch).
I have never seen this comment in all the stuff I have read on the player. Were this come from?

yes boyce IS more dynamic and faster than what David Givens was. But they appear to me to play with similar speed as deep threats and in general threaten the deep part of the field pretty similarly. And again, all that said, I compare the type of production I think they would have on a season-to-season basis as being in the roughly the same teir (i.e. 800-1100 yds/5-10 tds AAV)

He's not running all that fast there at all. Laughing I like his top speed enough, but he doesn't have the words greatest burst.

He isnt alow, but I was stunned to see that he ran a 4.3. Justin hunters ran a 4.42 at the combine, but looks much faster on the field

Not being a wise guy. You might feel that way when he is play Troy.

Just pulled this up on Jones. Maybe his best football ahead of him.

Um ew

Like whenever I watched him it was hard because Fitzy was such a mediocre QB. Can't evaluate guys like that but he's a number 3-4 at best. Time will tell but he's someone that I really don't envision having huge numbers here.

Spot duty guy. New Deion snap share pretty much.

I dunno, I see a lot of overlap between Nelson and the tight ends. He seems like a taller Hernandez - not very fast but quick gets open on short crossing routes, down the seam, etc. I don't see a role in which he can carve his own niche and take Amendola off the field.

Jones isn't as good at the position but at least he offers something - slants, size in the red zone - that if cultivated is useful to the team.

Desperately hoping his mediocre career up to this point is all Fitzpatrick's fault and that Brady turns him into a decent WR.

3 year deal scares the crap outta me. It usually means the FO has faith in the signee, but I have no idea what they are seeing in Donald Jones.
