I would think the opposite. W/ all the rumors w/ VY floating around, I would say it's b/c people don't think Pryor is capable.... why else look for the QB who is essentially exactly the same??

If the QB is the same type player then the offense
Doesn't need to change all that much if the starter goes down
So that's why you might look to bring in the same type player
Look at Philly they have Vick and brought in Dixon
It just makes sense to not have a traditional/running starter and a
Backup completely opposite

Seems like you guys are overlooking what seems to be interest in Vince Young on Vince Young's end. Did Oakland ask about him? I didn't read that part.. So how can anything about this indicate anything about Pryor or Palmer?

I don't think Clowney really likes school. He has been NFL ready since his freshman year. I think it is more likely that Clowney threatens to hold out. However, I am confident that eventually McKenzie will sell Clowney on the new Raiders. In addition, the stadium issue (ie- potential move) will be much less convoluted. Lastly, the QB class will be far superior.

No one can be disappointed with a Clowney/Aaron Murry combo.

No good reason. Everyone drafting #1 overall is in a bad situation. College players go pro early to make money.
