|
|
|
Team: Associazione Calcio Fiorentina
Stadium: Artiemio Franchi (46389 capacity)
Squad:
Going to be running a 4-3-3 [not set up yet] and the 3-5-1-1 that Fiorentina actually plays.
As of right now my goals are to win the cup or finish in the top 5 and guarantee Europe and to buy the stadium. Don't want to pay 826,000 a year. Keeping Jovetic is the top priority outside of those two.
I've been given 3.5m to work with and am expected to finish in the top half.
And before anyone notices/asks, yes, I am Paolo Maldini. _________________

Isnt maldini in the game. Are you a crazed fan that decided to adopt the same name as him or are you a clone of him? _________________

What the public does not know is that after selling Thiago Silva and Zlatan to PSG, Berlusconi snuck into Paolo's room at night and cut off a lock of his hair. Through the DNA extracted from the hair, he had a clone created in an attempt to replace Silva.
However, Berlusconi overlooked Maldini's age, so the clone immediately announced his retirement and started the qualification courses required to become a manager. Hence there being a Paolo Maldini in charge of Fiorentina and a legendary defender turned unemployed coach, Paolo Maldini.
The two Paolo's have yet to meet each other. Though there are rumblings of Paolo Maldini joining his clone's coaching staff. _________________

Original Paolo Maldini has agreed to join clone Paolo Maldini's Fiorentina. He is rumored to be the U20 Assistant Coach. _________________

Midtable Italian club = marginally better.
And yes, I realize Fiorentina are not midtable at this point. _________________

Well, Fiorentina has a special place in my heart. First team I had a save with in FIFA 11. _________________

The team had a TERRIBLE time in the first two months.
Lost 3-0 to Milan on a Pazzini hat trick
Beat Siena 2-1. Ljajic and El Hamdaoui scored
Lost to Parma 3-2. Aquilani and Jovetic scored
Lost to Palermo 3-1. Aquilani scored
Drew with Chievo 1-1. El Hamdaoui scored
Beat Barretta 4-1 in the Italian Cup. Lazaro, Romulu, Jovetic, and Pizarro scored.
2 goals for Palermo were off of set pieces. Parma got an incorrect penalty call and then we had one called back incorrectly. Ravaged the official ni the postgame on both. The FA was silent both times.
Something needs to change with this team's play. _________________

1 month later and we're sitting in 18th place after 8 games. 8 goals scored, 18 allowed, 5 points.
I lost all desire to do this story because of how terrible this team is playing. Just going to end this here. No idea what happened. This is the worst I've ever had a team play before. _________________

Finally got fired. Decided to keep this save going, but switching the title and just focusing on the manager over the team.
Let's see where I land. _________________

Currently have job offers from Vitesse, Kaiserslautern, Dijon FCO, Elche, Valladolid, Leicester, and Lyon.
I'll make my decision tomorrow. Feel free to weigh in people. _________________

I don't understand how you have trouble choosing between those clubs, unless you're specifically looking for a challenge. _________________
