Instead of figuring out ways to draft the prospects I really like, I tried to create a draft from the perspective of the Eagles Front Office. Let me know if I'm substantially under/over-valuing a player:

1. Geno Smith - QB - West Virginia

2. Kyle Long - OT - Oregon (after trading down)

We trade Nick Foles and Trent Cole to the Jaguars for their 3rd, we swap 4th round picks, and their 5th round pick

3. Da'Rick Rogers - WR - Tennessee Tech (from Jags)

3. Bacarri Rambo - S - Georgia

4. Brandon Jenkins - OLB/Predator - Florida State (from Jags)

We trade the two 5th round picks we now have, plus our 6th round pick from the Broncos, for the Chargers 4th and 6th round picks

4. Kwame Geathers - DT - Georgia (from Chargers)
(because a team took Brandon Williams in the late second/early third)

6. Montori Hughes - DT/DE - Tennessee-Martin (from Chargers)

7. Rashard Hall - S - Clemson

7. Eric Herman - OG - Ohio

Not a fan of Geno at #4.

I'm cool with Long in the 2nd, depending on what we got for your supposed trade down.

Don't like trading Cole and Foles for just a 3rd only. Terrible value IMO.

Rogers, Rambo and Geathers are cool with me.

I just don't think Geno will be the eagles pick

Yeah, I didn't incorporate what we would get for trading down into everything, but it would help us land Rambo, Rogers, and Geathers. I intentionally undervalued the Foles and Cole trade so it didn't come off as unrealistic. Now that Andy has Alex Smith, I can't see another team going crazy for Foles, and Cole is getting up there and has a substantial contract. With Dwight Freeney and others on the market I can't see a team giving up very much for him. I personally think they are worth more, but it's a buyer's market.

love hughes…

with vick signed for 1 year, and the qb of the future not currently on this roster… . I'd be fine with geno. he's got some things he'll need to clean up, but having him behind vick for a year or less, if vick struggles, is a good thing. then trade foles for a 2nd or 3rd.

No way we get that much for Foles after bringing someone else in and forcing him to ride the bench. The value for Foles is at it's peak right now, and will continue decline. Andy did not help us with the Alex Smith trade.

With the Connor Barwin signing i don't see us picking up Dion Jordan. Geno Smith is not coming to Philly. It has to be Dee Millner or Eric Fischer

As others are saying, I don't like Geno. I do think that there is a chance that we still get Dion Jordan at #4 because it looks like Barwin might be playing Predator. I wouldn't mind seeing Rhodes or Fisher at #4 though. I like Rogers, I like Rambo, and I think Geathers is a solid addition as well. Long might not be there in the late second, his stock is rising, but I am not sure where you think we will be picking in the 2nd with that trade back. Other then Geno, I don't mind it.

We sign two Corners 1 OLB and you think it's more likely for us to draft Milliner?

This is my thinking as well...taking Milliner doesn't coincide with our moves so far. I should also note that I think the Kyle Long pick will happen even if we sign an OT before the draft.

TBO, I'm not sure either, but nothing past the middle of round. I don't think Long will make it to the late second either, but our 2nd round pick is pretty early in the round as it stands. I didn't factor the benefits of that trade down into the later picks, I figured it would add to their feasibility.
