My response
Quote: | @R_Sherman25 but they still have 91, 94, 55, 53, 52, 99, 25, 22, and 31. So you guys still get second place on lock. |

At that price, I am glad. 5-6 mil per year? Maybe. 8? FORGET IT. _________________ fa·nat·ic (f-ntk) A person marked or motivated by an extreme, unreasoning enthusiasm, as for a cause.

Dashon's deal is being reported as 5 years $41 million. Too rich for the 49ers to be able to match. _________________

Best of luck to him. I wanted to keep him, but it's too much money. _________________

I remember when we drafted him and no one knew who the hell he was and ESPN put up a grainy video of him jumping over a car. |

This exactly...No chance in hell we could have afforded that contract this year, or any of the next five. It's what he wanted all along, so I'm glad he got it. Best of luck to him, but I don't see the Buccs as being the greatest fit. _________________

He knew for at least two years that he would never get that much money from us, yet he came back, because he knew playing on our defense would make him look good, and that he would eventually get the big deal. I see him topping his tackle marks (and his unnecessary roughness personal highs), but I doubt he turns in many 6+ INTs seasons. Even the greatest of DBs only achieve that with great pass rush in front of them. The Bucs have a few good pieces. Good luck to them. But it will take them a lot more than a high-priced FS to beat the Falcons, Saints and Panthers. _________________

Good for him. He went to a decent teams so he still has a shot at winning.
He got his money. And we get our third!
Bucs looking solid next season. And they still might get revis. _________________ ***WE RUN THE WEST!***

best of luck, Dashon. I wish you would've taken the hometown discount, you know, from the team that drafted you and was 3 plays away from winning the Super Bowl?! But still, good luck... _________________

Just read this Pro Football Focus had Dashon rated as the 20th best Safety in the league in 2012.. Just food for thought..
Maybe we in fact did not lose much.. |

If they somehow pull off the trade with Revis, that would be one hell of a secondary. _________________

This doesn't really speak highly of his character, in my opinion. All I hear is "me me me me me me me". If he truly cared about winning and being a team player, he wouldn't start off by taking a jab at his former team. He would focus on his new teammates and his new objectives. _________________

I agree. Look at Cliff Avril. Maybe he had a better deal out there but he instead took a lesser offer to play with a contender. Live and learn kids. contending/winning titles over money |
