Good. Long snappers don't get a lot of recognition but that's usually a good thing. Cox is a pretty good one so it's nice that they kept him around for another couple of years. The front office probably learned it's lesson about giving long snappers long deal after Katula flamed out. |

Good signing is good. Glad to have his consistency back on the squad. Now if only we could sign a younger Sam Koch... hopefully he finds a way to bounce back from his 1.5 years slump.

Yep, keeping Morgan Cox is one of those little, beneath usual notice moves that good teams need to make to stay on top.
It seems like Cox, Koch and Tucker have a really good working relationship, and a great understanding that can only help when they're called upon.
Regarding Sam Koch, though, I wonder if the Ravens might look at UDFA punters after the draft, to at least give Koch some incentive to step up his game.

I wouldn't go that far. I mean, the guy's a long snapper. Long snappers pretty much never leave their teams.
