Hear ya. Jordan at 265-270, without losing any speed or quickness? Be pretty imposing. _________________ Why have a signature? I don't need to be famous................................................. |

Some people may not like this, but Mingo to the Browns. His big knock on him is production or lack thereof is more attributed to the role he was playing this year.
He can immediately come in and be an impact pass-rusher and has the hip fluidity to drop into coverage. OLB in a 3-4 is going to be his natural position in the NFL where he can be turned upfield at the QB unlike playing a lot of contain and being an edge setter at LSU. Though it did show he was able to set the edge. His conversion of speed to power is also underrated. The Browns need an impact edge rusher and thats what Mingo is. Will obviously have to learn how to play in coverage though.
I would love to see them grab Da'rick Rogers in the third, big, physical, athletic beast who catches incredibly well in traffic and can be paired along side our deep threat Josh Gordon. The Browns do not have any receivers with the potential to reach the elite level. Rogers does; and will not be drafted nearly as high as he would have without the character issues. It definitely coule crash and burn but in third it is a calculated risk I would gladly see them take. Their WR coach also has experience in dealing with WR with character issues. I have him rated at #2 WR just a bit behind Deandre Hopkins, but Rogers has a much higher ceiling due to his athletic abilities. They would then have a very nice WR core for when they draft Bridgewater next year. |
LOVING Mingo to the Browns at #6. Rogers won't be there when you pick again. |
Ya, I thought Rogers in the third is dreaming a little high, but I don't think its entirely out of the question. |
He COULD fall to there, but I think some team in the mid-late 2nd sees a diamond in the rough. _________________ Why have a signature? I don't need to be famous................................................. |

Okay, I guess I know. Thank you. At #22, most likely, I'd assume? |
If we can get him at #22. Sure. Either one though for me. |
And who'd be your choice with your other 1st? |
Ideally? Warmack/Lane Johnson and Tavon Austin in the 1st. |
Warmack and Austin would be darned good for the Rams, I'll freely admit. |
And luckily, I think it's a fairly realistic scenario. |
I really hope the Bears snatch him at #20... He'd be the perfect compliment to Marshall and Jeffery. I'd have to agree, though, he could very well be ther for both of the Rams first round picks. |
I think the Bears need O-line help a bit too much, honestly. |
That may be the popular opinion around here, but the facts are Phil Emery will absolutely not be deadlocked into one position come draft day. Not only that, reaching for an OT in the first just because, is what's put us in this bind to begin with...Gabe Carimi(#29), Chris Williams(#14)...
Side Note: Brandon Marshall was targeted 89 times more than our 2nd option on Offense in 2012... _________________

For the Packers:
Tyler Eifert
Keenan Allen
Kenny Vaccaro
I'm hoping one of those 3 are on the board at 26. I'd even be all for trading up 5 ish spots to get one of them if necessary. _________________

You make some good points, and it's hard to argue against. However, I think you guys could use INTERIOR O-line help as much as tackle help. If Cooper's not there, as I suspect he won't be, then I think a guy like Barrett Jones could be a very helpful, safe addition. _________________ Why have a signature? I would LOVE it if we selected DeAndre Hopkins in round 1. If he is there and we pick him I will mark the heck out. I would have the same reaction as when we picked Brian Cushing.
If not, I would like Terrence Williams, Justin Hunter, or Keenan Allen. _________________

I would love a trade down, but if we stay put I would be happy with any of:
Luke Joeckel, Eric Fisher, Sheldon Richardson, Jarvis Jones, Dion Jordan, Shariff Floyd.
I would even be ok with Geno actually, although I am unsure about the point of drafting a guy I only ever see as an above average QB.
All for the Raiders. _________________
