I am pumped hearing that we are ready to spend big and going after big names.

A ton of rumors, so so far it's been good.

How often do big FA signings work out in the long run anyway? It seems like there's Drew Brees, Peyton Manning, those work out really well. Vincent Jackson is doing well so far. Justin Smith was a huge boom for us.

But it feels like most other big name and big money FA signings tend to be mediocre at best, and most of these guys end up getting cut/pay cuts fairly soon.

For as much risk as there is in a rookie transitioning from college to the NFL, it seems like there's just as much risk in high priced veterans changing schemes and teams.

You should be a Bengals fan. Tough for us to be disappointed.

We just re-signed our Punter and LS. I think we're done in FA...Laughing

(j/k btw we have a lot of players left to resign)

Bengals fan? I'll pass. lol Wink

I hope for the most part teams can just resign their own players. Those are the key free agents. It is pivotal to keep a strong core of players.

Otherwise, I'm ready for Monday to see some of the other guys start talking to other teams.

Mike Wallace/WR
Chris Gamble/CB
Chris Clemons/FS
Desmond Bryant/DE
Mike Goodson/RB
Derek Anderson/QB

Those are all locks.

I can pretty much guarantee Wallace wont sign with the Browns unless they laughably overpay him.

Id be shocked if Wallace doesnt end up in Miami.

I'm not going to lie, I'd be excited to see Cliff in a 3-4 system, but I still wouldn't pay over $7M/year for him.

Packer fans sit and watch other teams splash around in FA while we sit on the sidelines. Confused

I love that Sex Rexy went to the colts (or anywhere but DC really) and the Lewis and Philips signings if they are all real!
