Stole this from the Redskins forum because i felt this was an interesting topic, but what do you guys think was the worst move involving our franchise all time, i know alot of you guys are older than me being that i was born in 93 so you know much more history than what i do lol
it can be related to draft, hiring, releasing, signing, etc
thought this would be interesting and obviously hiring petrino has got to be up there _________________

5) Choosing Joey Harrington to be our QB
4) The Peerless Price signing
3) Drafting Jamaal Anderson at #8
2) Trading Brett Favre (debatable)
1) Hiring Bobby Petrino

Gaining Adam as a fan!
Actually, Petrino for me. The ultimate insult to this franchise. But I do love the worth it picture. _________________

Did I say Farve lets look back at the 2001 NFL Draft what could have been maybe should've instead of taking Vick!
Do not trade up to #1 to get Vick stay put get LT and then the Chargers get Vick or somebody else and we get Drew Brees in the 2nd Round so I would say Michael Vick wasn't the worst move but I put in the top ten and knowing what i know now it was a fairly bad move! _________________ The Most Interesting Man In The World Once Said " I don't always play Clemson but when I do I use my second string quarterback!" |

and what did the Chargers do with LT and Drew Brees? and what did the Falcons do with JUST Vick? Vick wasnt our problem until the '07 year. if we would of gotten some talented wideouts around him, instead of Dez White and Peerless Price, something different might of happend. |

Vick is arguably the best thing that ever happened to this franchise. It goes way beyond what he did on the field. The Falcons may have been better with LT and a different QB, but I don't see how you can say that was a bad move, let alone a top 5 bad move in franchise history. What he did for this franchise, pre-scandal, cannot be measured by wins and losses. _________________
