*(Cap room is =+5.75m)*

RESTRUCTURE CONTRACTS(5.75m +10.8m= 16.55m cap)
*Mike Vick(1yr 7.5m)(8m salary cut)
Jason Peters(3yr 27m)8m in 2013(2.8m salary cut)

CUTS (2013\2014Current Cap=16.55m +34.95m in cuts=51.5m under the cap)
*Jason Babin(4.4m)*(Already cut)
*Demetrius Bell(9.6m)*-(Already cut)
*Cullen Jenkins(4m)(Already cut)
Nnamdi Asomugha(11.3m)-(Wow this was terrible, time to cut ties with him)
Mike Patterson(4.1m)(Pats has had a nice career here but at 4m & change of scheme,he's gone)
Matt Kopa(550k)(Who???, ya he's gone)
Dallas Reynolds(500k)(he sucked)
Ryan Rau(500k)(never did anything this year, i'd rather have the 500k than him on this squad)

TRADES(+1.05m in salary trades=52.55m in cap room)
Trent Cole(-900k),Nate Allen(600k) to JAC for 4th,2014 6th

(He's been one of my favorite players on this team, but at 30 years old,a switch to the 3-4, a high salary and a down year last year, I think it's time to move on and get what we can for him while he still has value,Titans needs pass rush badly, Trent still has some good years left, think this makes sense for both sides.

Jason Avant(1.3m),Danny Watkins(50k)to KC for 6th,2014 7th
(Avant has been one of Andy's favorite players for a long time and with KC needing WR help this makes a ton of sense, and Andy did spend a 1st round pick on Watkins, and at 2.2m next year that's a little too much to pay for a back-up and we trade him for basically a 2014 7th)

RESIGN (After resign=42.3m under the cap)

DRC(5yr 40m)8m(He's got all the talent in the world,is still young and just entering his prime, but will he be motivated to perform? I think we resign him based on his size and skill set and hope that he will perform but not guarentee a ton of money (i.e what we did with desean)

Jake Scott(1yr 1m)(he did a decent job this year as our RG, it's a solid depth signing)

Colt Anderson(3yr 2.25m)750k(this is an easy resigning)

Jon Dorenbos(3yr 1.5m)500k(why not? DorenBOSS is the man)

FA SIGNINGS (After Signings=11.3m under the cap)
Sean Smith 6'3 217 25 CB(6yr 48m)8m (59tkl,3ff,2int,12pb)
(Smith has proven in his 1st 4 years to be one of the better CB in the league,he's really big at 6'3 218 and Physical, plays the run and the pass very well. Miami is cap Strap and it will be hard for them to match this offer with 5 other key free agents to resign. At 25 Smith's just getting into the prime of his career this would be a great signing for the future of the defense)

Jermon Bushrod 6'5 315 28 OT(5yr 40m)8m
(He still fairly young at 28,He has proven to be one of the better pass blockers in the NFL, he will move to his more natural RT position,He's athletic enough to play in this higher tempo ZBS O-Line that Chip is prolly gonna install, I think 8m should be a big enough offer that a cap strap Saints squad wouldn't be able to outbid.)

Louis Delmas 5'11 202 25 S(5yr 30m)6m (8g 38tkl,3tfl,1int,2pb)
(Here's a guy who when heathly is a great player, he still has a ton of untapped potential and has proven to be very good safety, I don't see detriot being able to give him over 6m with their cap situation. It's a gamble but with the lack of quality safteys in the NFL, I believe its worth the risk.)

Terrence Knighton 6'3 330 26 NT(5yr 25m)5m (32tkl,4tfl,2sack,2ff,1pb)
(Pot Roast played at Temple in college, is a talented run stuffing NT\DT. He would be the perfect player to put in as our 3-4NT)

Chris Canty 6'7 315 31 DL(2yr 6m)3m
(Canty has been a solid player for the giants for the last few years, this is a smaller contract that should give us good value. Canty will be a solid stop gap player who will play at a fairly high level for the couple years until we can find someone better)

Brad Meester 6'3 305 32 C(1yr 1m)1m
(He's always been a boarderline starter, he's not good enough to be a starter on a good team, but a great back-up. Think he would be a real nice depth addition and can help Kelce with his experience)

So you basically have us handing out 5 large contracts (DRC, Smith, Delmas, Bushrod, Knighton). Not gonna happen. Wayyy too much. We'll prob make two big signings maybe a third. We need to sign quality depth players.

Thatd be wayyyyy overpaying for Bushrod. Way too much money for him. I'm fine with the Smith signing. I like Knighton. Mixed feelings about signing DRC back. HATE Delmas. Especially at that price. He's essentially Bob Sanders but not quite as good.

I feel like you gave up way too much for Jarvis Jones. Id rather take Collins in the 2nd and keep all those picks. Honestly, even Sean Porter in the third. The picks that you gave up for Jarvis could net us some quality players in this deep draft.

Overall not bad. Not huge on the draft. I don't like McDonald and Delmas as our two safeties....Both are question marks.

I do like that you took Hunter and Reed. Adds some muuch needed size to the offense. Both could be big time playmakers.

I don't see any reason why we would restructure jason. If anything I would try to buy an extra year of his FA.

Also jarvis jones is no von miller that is just crazy talk. That is a stupid as hell comparison, von millers is a premier pass rusher and jones lacks the elite first step to ever come close to that.

Trent Cole(-900k),Nate Allen(600k) to JAC for 4th,2014 6th
Jacksonville is bad. They need young veterans, not old ones.
Cole gets you nothing from the Jaguars. Propose it in their thread. I dare you.

Just retarded.

DRC
Not committed

Trade 4 to TB for 13,2nd(44),3rd(74)(TB gets Milliner)
Or TB could just sign Smith....

Trade 13,5th to STL for 16th,3rd(79)(STL takes Cooper)
Cooper will be there at 16.

The rest is just hell-i-bad.
The first five picks are terrible for a myriad of reasons.

I do like Dexter McCoil, though.
He'll be a better tackler than you let on.
He wraps up well, but lacks functional strength.
He's a year or two away from being a decent tackler.
He is willing, however, and that counts for a lot.
His long strides mean that he will have to be a free safety and not a strong one.

Also, you should draft Menelik Watson and sign Brendon Ayanbedejo.
Then you'd have Menelik, Meshak and Ayanbedejo. Pretty biblical...almost.
Sorry, I had to have some fun with this mock aside from the diarrhea it gave me.

Man, you can do better.

I truly love the following statement.....

DRC has all the talent in the world.

This is the biggest crock of crap in the world. The guy was playing for the biggest contract of his life last season and couldn't put it together. It has nothing to do with talent and everything to do with being an idiot. You can't coach stupidity out of any player.

The trades are awful, free agency is a pipe dream.
