I guess we could still go DT if Pot Roast isn't retained. Forgot that. _________________

I literally just thought the same thing.
Free Agency will be interesting just to see who we lose.
Also, I'm pretty sure that if Mincey is cut post June 1st, we have the option of splitting the dead money between 2013 and 2014. _________________

Yeah. Floyd or Star would make sense, if Pot Roast isn't retained.
If Cox walks, that leaves our CB situation even more dire, but Milliner doesn't really seem like good value or the right fit @ #2.
What happens with FA and who we keep/lose is obviously going to play a role in what Caldwell does at the top end of the draft i think.
There are a lot of different directions this could go, but i'm still hoping for a trade-down scenario where someone else jumps up to grab Geno. _________________

Would we really want to split the dead money though? It almost seems that it would make more sense to just suck it up and eat Gene's wonderful legacy payments this year, so his dead money would be out of the way by the time our roster is more filled out and ready to snag a couple pieces to contend/retain key guys like Shorts III, etc. _________________

We won't be any where near the cap this year, so it's just going to roll over to the next season. In the end, we'll have the same amount of money free next offseason either way. _________________

Yeah, that's true. It doesn't really matter. But given that, i'd think it makes more sense to just eat the money now...so we can just move on from it and try to forget about Gene's deal as soon as possible. _________________

I don't think it's fair to compare anyone to Warren Sapp. _________________

So what separates:
Mingo, Jordan, Ansah from each other? _________________

Scheme. Preference. Same things that truly separate most prospects from each other.
Maybe Jordan's durability concerns and intelligence concerns drop him a bit - doubt it though. _________________
