Depends on price.
His age and decline in Philly will hopefully asking price.
Just posted this in another thread:
I think he should get a lower contract due to his age and steep decline in Philly (whether it was a wrong fit or what).
Yet I could see some team bringing him on for more than we could pay. I think he would be a decent fit here for a couple of years. Houston/Scrabble wouldn't be a bad combo and it would allow some of our younger guys to hopefully develop into solid starters to take over. _________________ AAL: DeAndre Levy 31 Tackles

| Quote: | | The Philadelphia Eagles will release cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha today, reports Howard Eskin of Philadelphia’s FOX 29. |
| Quote: | There had been reports in recent weeks that Asomugha would be released unless he restructured his contract.
Asomugha was the top free agent on the market when Philadelphia signed him to a five-year, $60 million contract in 2011. He was coming off three straight Pro Bowls with the Raiders and was considered one of the best cornerbacks in the NFL.
But he never lived up to his contract with Philadelphia. The team also struggled — going 8-8 and 4-12 the past two seasons — and coach Andy Reid was fired.
In late February, a report leaked that Asomugha ate lunch in his car rather than with his teammates last season. New Philadelphia coach Chip Kelly called Asomugha an “outstanding” person last week, but the cornerback is still apparently on his way out. |

I imagine Asomugha will have a lot of suitors and won't have to move to safety. He's still only 31, and while he probably won't be an elite corner again anytime soon, I have to imagine he could be pretty good in the right scheme. He does have the size to play safety, but I don't see that happening for a few years. _________________

Likely will be eventually.
Only would give him a look if he's cheap. Doesn't appear to be the same guy that was in Oakland at this point in his career. Probably wants to go to a contender anyways. _________________

He was a safety in college. I'm pretty sure he can be a safety again. _________________

Prefer him over Revis because they can keep picks to build thru draft as well _________________

Then again theres a big drop off between the 2 players. I guess you could fill that gap with picks. _________________

Not saying he is on same level. Saying I would prefer Scrabble/picks> Revis if they are going to grab a veteran
I would prefer neither but if I had to pick one that is route I would go _________________

That's it, don't sign Delmes. Bring in Asomugha/Woodson at safety with a mid round prospect...

Scrabble will still be solid in man coverage. Every time I saw him get burnt was while playing a zone. I'd gladly take him in the D. _________________

| He should have signed here instead of Philly. Much better fit here. That said, it would depend on if that ship has sailed and how much money would be involved. Really wouldn't mind him at either CB or S. Scrabble played that man press we want to play but haven't been able to since we don't have capable CBs to do so. |
