Since we don't know what is going to happen this offseason, I won't predict which position we will draft. Instead I'm ranking players in every position we may draft. This is just a list of guys I would take in the 1st and 2nd round (if we somehow get one).

Offensive Tackles
1. Luke Joeckel (Texas A&M)
2. Eric Fisher (Central Michigan)
3. Lane Johnson (Oklahoma)
4. DJ Fluker (Alabama)

Deffensive Linemen
I'm putting NT and DE together because of Hicks versatility.
1. Sharrif Floyd
2. Star Lotulelei
3. Sheldon Richardson
4. Johnathon Hankins
5. Margus Hunt
6. Jesse Williams
7. Brandon Williams

Outside Linebackers
1. Jarvis Jones
2. Barkevious Mingo
3. Ezekiel Ansah
4. Dion Jordan
5. Damontre Moore
6. Bjoern Werner
7. Sam Montgomery
8. Alex Okafor
9. Jamie Collins
10. Chase Thomas

Inside Linebackers
1. Kevin Minter
2. Alec Ogletree
3. Manti Te'o
4. Arthur Brown

Cornerbacks
1. DeMarcus Milliner
2. Desmond Trufant
3. Johnathon Banks
4. Xavier Rhodes
5. Jordan Poyer

Safties
1. Matt Elam
2. Kenny Vaccaro
3. Eric Reid
4. DJ Swearinger

Let me know what y'all think. Is there anyone I left out? If you want to make a case for why we would draft another position in the first two rounds, let me know and I'll do my best ranking it.

After a quick look I only noticed one thing that I think needed to be pointed out. I'd have Cyprien over Reid and Swearinger

Not a big need but TE, On the chart right now is Jimmy and Mike Higgins. Just a thought though some late round pick.

Why do you have T-Rex above Star on your list?

I'll admit I'm a little bias tword SEC players. I would watch SEC over any other conference. I've seen those guys play more. I do like Cyprien, but being from a smaller school I haven't seen him play, just highlights. I'm not the only one who likes Sharrif over Star. I liked him before everyone had him in the top 10.

You got me thinking. We aren't the New England Patriots. Meaning we don't use two TEs a lot. How much did David Thomas play the last two years, grant it he was hurt most of last season. Even when we had Shockey and Jimmy, the last half of the season once Jimmy learned the offense, only one did good a game. It wasn't always Shockey. It wasn't always Jimmy, but them never both went off in the same game.

Jimmy isn't much of a blocker. That where Higgins comes in. When we run 3 TE sets the 3rd one is Charles Brown or Greg Olsen, an extra blocker. I don't see that changing this year, maybe to Marcel Jones or another linemen. I don't see a new TE playing in our offense.

The more I think about it, the less I want us to draft a TE at all. I would pick up an old cheap veteran or undrafted free agent just to fill a roster spot.

True, But Belicheck and Payton take some things from each others offense when they can. Also the way the payton may want playmakers on the field, throw in mismatches. I could see him going after a something like a Gronk/Hernadez on offense. we only have the something similar to gronk, except the party dancing with the shirt off

I'm still not sure if I would even draft one, but I can see your point. Taking one in the first two rounds is crazy so I won't rank them all. Some later round guys I like:

Chris Gragg: (Arkansas)
He very athletic and showed it at the combine. Just look at the leader boards for every event. His injury dropped his stats this season. He only played six games and had 289 yards and 3 TDs. I know that's not great but does it sound familiar. Jimmy Graham freak athlete top at every event in the combine only 213 yards and 5 TDs. Give him one year of coaching and he can be good.

Micheal Williams: (Alabama)
I don't see him turning into a great receiving TE. He has potential, but would be taken for what he can do as a blocker. Obviously 'Bama had a great ground game and Williams was a vital part of it. He needs to stay on his blocks longer, but he can learn from Evans, Grubbs etc.

Because Shariff Floyd is a better prospect, and Star has that heart condition.

Yea I agree with that, a solid 5th or 6th pick should do it. I just thinking going towards a all defense draft is unrealistic. And also Im a offensive kind of guy.
