I have been thinking alot about what should the Bengals do with this pick 21. As most know by now, this draft lacks great players, but has many solid ones. This is the draft to trade completely out of the 1st and try and grab as much value as possible. Im talking even taking 2014 picks. It would be awesome if we could get a 2014 1st or something like that, I would totally be for it, or even a 2nd, 3rd, and late round pick. Round 2-4 is where the talent lies... _________________

I would be ok with it as long as someone we covet doesn't fall to us at 21. If there is someone there that the coaches like, I would rather get one of the top 2-3 guys at a position of need then taking the 5-6 option that fell to us in the 2nd round. I would rather trade for a 1st next year than a 2nd or 3rd round pick this year.
The problem is, other teams know the draft is lacking top talent as well. The only way some wants to trade up is if Barkley or another QB is there and a team like Cleveland decides to trade up for a QB. _________________

| I'd be all for for provided Ogletree is gone at 21 which there is a good chance. I'm not in love with this draft at the top, definitely more depth than star power. Not entirely sure about the 2014 draft but I hear it will be better (I'm talking after the top 5 because everyone knows that is loaded). |

I really don't see it happening based on our history because we usually don't make a lot of draft day trades. But then again last year we moved down to 27 to take Zeitler so I don't think it's out of the question.
I think there will be guys worthy of the pick at 21 though and I don't see us passing on them to move down.
I do think we are gonna have the ability to move down because I think two of the three QB needy teams (NYJ, Arizona and Buffalo) are not gonna take a QB with their first selection and they will be interested into trading up into late round one to get their guy. |

I'd love to. Hopefully theres a QB on the board at 21 someone covets. Or maybe even Tavon Austin/DJ Fluker/Tyler Eifert etc. that some team falls in love with/needs. _________________

The problem is with so much depth but so little star power, teams would really have to fall in love with one player to do it. With so many similarly graded players, most teams will sit back and take "whoever is left", so to speak. _________________

The only player that realistically could be there at 21 that I wouldn't trade back from is Vaccaro.
Beyond that I am good trading back, but as others have said, I dont know if there will be the opportunity. _________________

| If we let Smith walk (and I think we should), another guy I'd think of staying at #21 for is Fluker. Otherwise, I'd be fine with trading down. |
