FA is terrible.
Hughes is already signed for the '13 season. Landri is a poor fit in our new defense.
I doubt Lane Johnson get's past SD. A little heavy on TE's. Draft is so so. _________________

How's FA terrible???
My bad about Hughes then and I actually think Landri would be a good fit for the RE role in the new defense as a penetrating 3-tech. _________________

I don't mind FA, although I'm not that keen on Talib.
Draft is fine but I don't like Damontre Moore. I think you've got a few players lasting a lot longer than I'd expect..... Devin Taylor in the 6th round is ambitious.
Extra point for DJ Swearinger. _________________

Don't like Talib or Clemons.
Would prefer to draft a SAM instead of Lawson, but it's okay.
Jason Jones is alright, but get's banged too much up, and I question if he could hold up at 5 tech.
I doubt Sopogoaga or whatever the name is, would accept a deal with so little money in involved, or it depends on if you mean "2 years, 2.5 on average" or you mean 1.25 on average. _________________

Hate it.
Talib is an awful addition.
Don't like Clemons at all.
Lawson best days are behind him.
Foles isn't worth a 3rd to anyone and its just a bad trade. You don't get rid o a payer when you have to turn around and draft a replacement for said player.
If you want Johnson, you better take him at #4. I do like the trade though.
IMO none of the players you picked in the first 3 rounds are going to be there. _________________

Besides the fact that I love it, I don't think Moore or Banks will be there when you have them getting picked. Same for Barner. He might go as early as the 4th-5th round.
But other than that I approve of this mock. _________________

Not a fan of bringing Landri back.
Fine with the cuts. FA is ok, not the biggest fan of Talib.
Like the trade down for Johnson.
Do not like Moore at all, even though his value would be fine there.
The rest of the draft isn't too bad though. _________________

Don't understand going for Talib... Sean Smith is a much better option IMO. Don't like Clemons at all. Lawson is old. Just don't like FA.
Draft is mad unrealistic. Lane won't fall to 13. Moore might fall to the 2nd, but I don't like him at all. He is a one trick pony, and I don't see that changing. Banks will be picked before 43.
Just don't get this mock really. You went after the right positions, but got all the wrong players. |

I would like signing Talib. People tend to forget how good of a corner he really is.
You're nuts if you think Lane Johnson is making it past SD.
Demantre Moore....Gross.
Rest is cool in draft. Going TE back to back is intriguing...Reed and Kelce..Reed reminds me a lot of Hernandez. Love Banks and Swearinger. _________________

A little unrealistic if you ask me but I'd be happy if this happened. So-so on Talib though don't want any bad character guys _________________

Aqeeeeb Taleeeb's a good CB, you guys know that right? Not sure if that it's a case of a hivemind-like consensus that because of his off the field issues he'd be a bad signing but I guess people forget that he's a shut-down CB who can take away a receiver and is much more physical than Nnamdi and DRC put together!
As for Chris Clemons he just had somewhat of a break out year for the Phins, what's not to like?? I'd really like an answer to that because statistically he had a great season in coverage and that ability coupled with Swearinger's ability to knock people out would make for a great S duo.

I'll quote this one specifically because it's pretty funny. Well IMO all of those players will be there where I've selected them, lol argument over because I said IMO right?
The whole "Oh but the Chargers will take Johnson two picks before us" is pretty silly at this point, based on last year there's going to be a whole lot of trading in the draft, it's two picks out and pretty hard to predict what's gonna happen on the day itself so look at for what it is.
Can't believe people aren't fond of Damontre, he'd be ideal for the SAM in the 4-3 under... seeing as that is the position that will drop back into coverage 30% of the time. We wouldn't be getting an Aldon Smith type athlete but he'd still be a very solid OLB.
One more, what do we all think of drafting back-to-back TEs in the third? Very New England-y with Kelce and a very athlete TE in Reed. _________________
