I hope they overpaid.
I like Andy Reid but after the Alex Smith trade and also liking the Raiders I hope they fail colossally.
I'm guessing: 5 year 65 Mill 25 gtd

Chiefs just tagged Brandan Albert. Who knows what direction they'll go with the #1 overall pick at this point... |

Aw man, I wanted to see Bowe go to a team with a good QB, not named Brady. Was hoping to see what he could do.
Smart resigning by the KC chiefs though.Smith needs weapons to be succesful.

Alex is better with TE's, but having more weapons never hurt anybody....
Maybe KC goes after Jared Cook too, i think Alex would do well with him.

For people who were against the Smith trade, methinks it was a big part of getting Bowe to resign
Also, since Dorsey has from day 1 said his draft strategy is strictly BPA, our moves so far in the offseason allow us to just that. We have our starting QB, we have Albert under contract (and will probably still agree to a deal with him) and have our stud WR locked up for 5 years now.
I feel like anything related to the Chiefs and Joeckel now is going to be just a smokescreen to get some trade interest to possibly move down.
Pioli already said he would let Albert walk, tag Bowe and draft Joeckel. Pretty sure he wouldn't have the balls to trade for Smith either. John Dorsey is a boss.
