It looks as the Bills may let him walk with the tagging of Byrd, and no contact with his agent to date. Having played every position on the line I think he'd be a fantastic add for our Off line. Not sure how highend he'd be contract wise.
Thoughts???? |

I'd love to add him, but it's just not possible right now with the cap situation and all the holes on the roster. They would have to make some moves to open up the needed cap space to just fill the roster and sign their draft picks... signing big name guys is a luxury they just don't have right now with Suh, Calvin, and Stafford sucking up so much cap space.

I agree our cap situation is well.......horrible, I'm hoping that with Flacco getting his deal done that is jump starts the Staff extension that would allow us to have some room to make moves. Even though Mayhew is making statements that the lions are going to be agressive in the market. Which leads me to believe he's gone mad or he knows of pending situations that will allow us to play in the FA market.
What kind of deal would Andy be looking at?? 5-7mill per??? |

LeVitre would be an amazing signing.
I think the only possible way they could land him is some very fancy structuring . He is going to get a big contract and as we all know the Lions are hooped.
So a big signing bonus with a low salary the first two years.
However its these types of contracts that put a team in cap trouble in future years.

If we had the money he would be a great addition for us and someone I would love for us to get.
I don't see it happening. Other teams with more money will land him.

Heard that but also heard Long wants 11 million a year and some teams think he's better suited at RT at this point. We'll see what happens.

Unfortunately it seems as if Det has zero interest in him in rumors. Was really hoping they targeted him.

Teams like TB, Indy, Tenn etc. can afford to pay that much for a guard, but there's no way we could. |

Yea taking Warmack at 5 would be better probably depending on the contract for him there
