Yeah but that'll happen whenever a team is doing real well, and vice versa for when they start doing poorly. Overall I'd say that the city has still been behind the Hawks the last two years. |
Absolutely. No one lost faith and every knowledgeable fan understood why the team got semi dismantled after winning the Cup. |

I'm honestly surprised that he keeps getting away with that. Not sure why opposing goalies don't just step out and poke check him. Not like he's moving fast enough to get around them. Nonetheless, I'm glad they haven't wizened up yet. _________________ I'm a Bears fan. |

| Do the wins at the end of last season contribute to the streak? If so, we have a shot at moving past Philly's record of 35 |

In my NHL franchise I traded Crawford and Oduya to Carolina for Jordan Staal. Crawford had been giving up three goals in less than two minutes in nearly every game. Glad to see he's playing good in real life where it counts. _________________

I don't think so. All they talk about is the 22 game streak. _________________ Martellus Bennet highlight video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5lP8fHN53t0 |

Yeah I think you're right, SeaBears. I mean teams dont get a point in the playoffs, it's just win or lose, so I don't think there's any way the streak would continue. _________________

To go 22 games into a strike shortened season w/o a regulation loss is astonishing, have the Hawks clenched yet? LOL _________________

Pretty crazy run. As a Sens fan, it's nice to see Ray Emery doing well. _________________

They do count. They are currently tied (or one behind) the team that has the second longest streak (montreal in the '70s i believe) _________________

Yeah I just heard them talking about this on SC earlier. The Hawks have the record for 22 games to start a season with a point in each game, but the record for most consecutive games with a point is 35 and the Hawks are #2-T in that category with 28, dating back to last season.
I'm pretty sure that's the deal. _________________ Martellus Bennet highlight video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5lP8fHN53t0 |

Big game tonight at home versus the Wild (11-8-2). I've got several friends who are from MN and they're pretty confident about this one, so this one is personal to me.
Minny is good, so they can't be overlooked, but I think coming home after beating long-time rival, Detroit, will keep the Hawks' momentous streak alive.
Game is at 7:30 CT, unfortunately I have to stream this one... _________________ Martellus Bennet highlight video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5lP8fHN53t0 |

Yep pretty nervous about this game. Good to have Bolland back but it stinks that Frolik is ill. _________________

That'll work for me.
Amazing first period, out-shooting them 17-6 leading to a 4-1 score. Bickell with 2, let's get the hatty. _________________ Martellus Bennet highlight video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5lP8fHN53t0 |
