with edwards gone, hopefully dwill cut, we can restructure beason and gross. and possibly keep gamble.

The release of Edwards, coupled with tight end Greg Olsen's contract restructuring, leaves the Panthers about $3.5 million over the reported $123 million cap.

i dunno the last time we've had so many restructures. I'm kinda surprised esp with the way the NFL is. Is Gettlemen that good of a negotiator?

Maybe but it could have been that Hurney was that bad of a negotiator. My guess would be the latter.

I think a little bit of both, plus a lot of selfless players who know we need to make some cap space.

The players aren't loosing any money here it's just moved to different years or category. Hurney did it all the time. These are bad for future years cap.
