I have always liked this kid would love to invite him into Detroit to talk turkey about joining our back end.
He's 30 not over the hill yet I would at least talk with him about a contract because Dunta Robinson CB would be a upgrade on our defense! _________________ You have to stand bye your convictions, sometimes you might stand alone but when your proven right its a great feeling!

Would rather have Houston back if the money is similar, but no harm looking at other options either. _________________

That's the thing, Robinson is probably going to get paid, and I think Houston should be our top priority as far as corners go (given we know he can play in our system). Assuming Houston gets a pay raise--and he will, I'm thinking somewhere int he $4 - $5.5 million per year range--we probably won't have a ton of money left over for signing someone like Robinson.
He's certainly an upgrade over what we have, but he's not a big-time player by any means, even though he's going to get paid like one. _________________

Dunta is a moron and has pretty much never actually been any good. He was vastly overrated after his rookie campaign, and has never done anything worthwhile since then. _________________

The Lions can't afford him and Houston.
I would prefer Houston. _________________

It sounds like the Lions have interest in him from what I've heard. Although, it may be in effort to gain leverage in talks with Houston. _________________

Dunta has been awful every year he's played for ATL. Like, god awful coverage. He is so overrated. _________________

(Might be a silly question) I know this probably wouldn't happen but with all of the CBs getting older and moving to S, would Robinson fit in as a S in Detroit? _________________ 11 AAL: Ryan Donahue

He has a year or 2 left in the tank, but I wouldn't want the Lions to sign him, would cost too much for what we would get IMO.
Really hope Houston re-signs, he should be the #1 priority. _________________

I think he would do better as a S than a CB for us but he isn't worth the money he will get.
Overrated and expensive. Pass. _________________ AAL: DeAndre Levy 31 Tackles

Agreed. Age/Price ration is not a good fit here, to hell with the idea _________________ Football is love, love is life. |

Robinson played well last year. I have no idea where the "awful" meme is coming from. |

What? He was probably his worst in his career last year in coverage. QBs had a QBR of 102 throwing at him last year. _________________
