| Johnson and Avril are out of our price range. Freeney would be nice, at the right price, but I don't want Osi anywhere near Atlanta. He's not a good guy and his play has totally fallen off. |

Our price range shouldn't have a cap. That being said we shouldn't drop stacks on FAs. If we get them for a solid price then we should pursue.. _________________

^ We had a price range cap for Charles Johnson. When the bidding went over that limit, we withdrew.
With underachievers like Ray Edwards and Dunta Robinson, you better believe TD has a limit on the contracts he will offer to FAs.
I hope we don't bring him Avril or Osi. _________________

I agree, I am not a fan of Avril. Osi is ok but I think his better days are gone. I'd rather have Freeney or Richard Seymore _________________

I want Kruger. He's young and a beast. Do you think we could be switching to a 3-4? _________________

True, but if I remember correctly, Carolina offered him a huge contract. The only guys I want are Johnson or Freeney. _________________ Dirty Bird Watch: Sean Weatherspoon

This is something I asked in the other topic. We have no pass-rushing DE's. We're either gonna pick up a bunch in FA and the draft, or we're headed toward a 3-4. Just my opinion though, I understand Scar has a lot of insider info with ATL. _________________ Dirty Bird Watch: Sean Weatherspoon

Count Johnson out. I think we could make the switch the 3-4. Only question is how would the LB's go. Inside, would it be Spoon/Nicholas or Spoon/Dent? _________________

Spoon and Dent would be inside I'd think. We'd have to pick up some 3-4 OLBs though _________________

I think Avril is a good option for le. I think most of the 1st rounders this year are better suited at RE if Im correct since LE needs to stop the run a lil more. Is Johnson a RE or left? Kruger and kroy sound good if we go 34. Why isn't anyone talking about Jones from UGA ? He's a monster and can play anywhere. And Im sure were in good with the Drs who cleared him to play. He and Mingo are the 2 best pass rushers this year and both can play anywhere. _________________

Cliff Avril is absolutely horrible against the run, not to mention he played on a stacked defensive line, so he is a huge bust candidate. _________________
