| If Eric Reid is still on the board at 51, he will be a Washington Redskin!!!! |

If we pass on Damontre Moore for Tyler Eifert, I would not be a happy Falcons fan. Moore is still a top-10 plater in my book, and Eifert isn't worth it there.
Chase Thomas doesn't fit in a 4-3 very well. And unless I'm totally missing something, Arthur Brown is still on the board, and he's the perfect fit for our defense and I'd much rather have him. |

| Pretty good Steelers draft. I think i would much rather have Jonathan Hankins in the 2nd. |

| Jonathan Hankins would be in a fight to even make the Bengals' 53 man roster. They are that deep at DT. I really doubt they draft a DT at all, and if they do it won't be until very late in the draft. |

BK speaks the truth. Would have also been happy with J Cooper. That dude is a stud. _________________ "If you think weakness can be turned into a strength. I hate to tell you this, but that's another weakness." Jack Handey |

Love it for Pittsburgh. Franchise LT and a RB who is a "do-it-all" kind of back. Very nice for us. We have to focus on BPA defensively from there on out, however. _________________ Come Follow My Oakland Multi-Sport Franchise! |

Love GB's 2nd pick, but I'd rather have Eifert over Elam at #26. _________________

Just to add to the succinct post from Detroit roar,
A. Bjorn Werner is no good for the Lions. He would be a JAG (just another guy) in the 4-3 the Lions use. He's not a playmaker and doesn't have the off-setting quality of being a polished player. The lions at #5, need a pass rushing difference maker, a bump and run corner, or the top o-lineman available.
In your scenario Joeckel or Milliner are better value fits, with Joeckel being the best value-based position player (best value over what they can get in the 2nd round at the position). Jarvis Jones and Dion Jordon are also difference makers who the lions would have to consider, but scheme fit may eliminate them from being taken...unless they decide their talents warrant them modifying their defense. (I think DC Gunther C would be all for it but Schwartz would be against it.) Chance Warmack is also a difference maker in the run game...by adding him, they would improve 3 or 4 positions...C, RG, RT, & RB. That's worth it.
That is why Bjorn Werner makes no sensse. Heck, I would take two O-linemen (though preferably not at #5) Lane Johnson or Jonathon Cooper (who you have falling ridiculously far...did he get in to a car accident or fail a drug test I haven't heard about?) over Werner.
Jfyi. D. Slay was Mississippi St. Not Michigan state. And unless CB J. Banks runs a terrific time at his pro day (and I wouldn't hold my breath) he's not a 1st rounder.
B. Terrance Williams wouldn't be the 1st WR on the Lions big board, even if they weren't going FS/SS, CB, DE, or LB with their 2nd round pick. If Trufant is available that late in the 1st round Mayhew would seriously consider trading up for him.
Mayhew is a BPA believer, but his GM window is closing and he has many spots to fill and not a lot of cap space for FAs.He will have to transition into BPA-at-position-of-need in this draft if he hopes to keeep his job.
