Sounds like a rehash of everything he said last year at this time. I'll believe it when I see it. Only time will tell.

I was thinking the same thing, but it could be different now that he's actually signed. Nothing was going to stop him from being highest paid last offseason.

Maybe. But once Brees is gone we'll probably be rebuilding anyways.
