According to well known and respected blogger 'ct17', as a result of the combination of losing Jerome Simpson/ Nate Livings/ Mike McGlynn/ Frostee Rucker/ Andre Caldwell and the signing of Jason Allen/ BJGE/ Jamal Anderson, the Bengals are likely to be awarded an extra 2 x 7th round picks in this upcoming draft.
The exact formula for calculating these picks is right up there with quantum physics, but these guys are pretty accurate most of the time.
2 v 7's could be very useful this year. _________________ " I imagine that in Paul McCartneys' house, he must have a shelf with the 12+ great 'Beatles' studio albums neatly stacked. At times, he must rock back in a chair, light a cigar and say to himself, '....not bad for a life's work......' " |

Sure, late rounders are always a crap-shoot, but there may be some interesting guys falling down that may be worth taking a look at, Marcus Lattimore, Denard Robinson, Joe Fauria, Joe Kruger etc etc....... It happens every year.
How many teams wish now they had used a 7th rounder last year on Burfict ?
We may also need to draft some kicking crew this year.
They will probably amount to nothing, but who knows ? _________________ " I imagine that in Paul McCartneys' house, he must have a shelf with the 12+ great 'Beatles' studio albums neatly stacked. Yes the kickers could leave, but I doubt it. Huber played HS and college in Cincy and loves his coach. It won't be a cost concern to bring him back. Brown was on the street in november. Don't think he will jump at a chance to return? Nugent acts like he likes it here as well.
As for the 7th rounders, they will be camp bodies who end up on the PS if they flash.
I was kinda hoping for a fifth. The league still owes us for calling the JJoe swap with Clements a wash. _________________

I's rather have one higher pick than two 7ths. Those are essentially hand picked UDFA that have to come here. _________________
