I guess this is where we disagree then. _________________

Alex Smith behind one of the best offensive lines in the game couldn't even throw 20 TDs. Rivers behind arguably the worst in the NFL throws 26. But ok. _________________

I am not saying Alex is top flight either. To be honest I am not even sure of what you mean by top flight? But I do feel Alex is better than Rivers and we may as well not even argue over it here because I am pretty sure neither will change the others mind.
As far as all moves that did not involve Rivers or Gates though, what do you think? And what would you look for the rest of the draft? At the moment I would like to grab a G, MLB, OLB, CB, and/or SS _________________

Alex Smith better then Rivers now?
Put him behind this offensive line with our running game and the team is looking at 0-16. |

I don't see Alex Smith on that list. _________________

Alex Smith was worth a second and a future conditional second or third. Can't imagine what Rivers is worth compared to Smith then. _________________

But he's worth it just for the sideline aesthetics. _________________
