Trying to plot my mock.... -if Fisher and Joekel are both off the board at #7, which is REAL likely, and the Cardinals have their choice of the top interior lineman in this draft, would you guys go for the elite athlete that is Cooper, over maybe the more-hyped Warmack? _________________ Why have a signature? 1 - I would think we would look into a pass rusher or Lane Johnson.
2 - We would no doubt take Geno Smith if he is available
3 - Warmack fits a heck of a lot better than Cooper in the power zone scheme that Arizona is looking to run. _________________ Patrick Peterson - 92 targets, 40 catches allowed, 602 yards, 6 TD's, 7 INT's

Warmack is not a perfect player but he's pretty close. Some scout at the combine said he looked soft by not benching. I know he didn't seem soft on film...
BA said he wants to add one piece to the OL and a dynamic pass rusher. That screams Mingo/Jordan at #7 and Warford/whoever in the 2nd. That is according to my gut. _________________

Warmack is not over-hyped, if Geno is on the board he's ours. Give us Warmack if Geno is gone _________________

I think the interesting scenario for me if Joeckel and Fisher are gone at #7 is the prospect of trading down and still ending up with a top notch guard plus possibly filling another hole like SS/FS or ILB. Tough to say if Warmack will be there where we trade down to though - but we're talking the guard position and a lot of good ones come from many places in the draft (including some converted tackles).
Also it's tough to know what Steve Keim is willing to do in his first year - and he's seen us make a really stupid decision trading down from Terell Suggs. Still a possibility that should be considered though. |

Trading down works for me, hope we won't have too, but extra picks would make this team better quicker
How good is it that Moore is slipping, that would be my plan b |
