A lot of analysts are starting to talk about Jonathan Cooper, the guard from UNC. He had better combine numbers and many were thinking that he was not to far off from Warmack. After the combine, some say Cooper has jumped Warmack since he appears more athletic. (Note: The only real combine difference is Warmack had a bad 40 yard time.)
So say Joeckel and Fisher are gone.. Geno is gone.. and at #7, Cooper and Warmack are available.
Who do we take? Who do YOU take?
I want April to be here already.
Combine:
Cooper - 6'2", 33" arms, 311 lbs, 10 1/4" hands
5.07 forty yard, 35 reps, 27" vert, 108" broad, 7.78 3 cone, 4.84 20 yd shuttle
Warmack - 6'2" 34 3/4" arms, 317 lbs, 9 5/8" hands
5.49 forty yard, 110" broad
I really think, assuming a Kolb restructure happens, we select OL in the 1st and 2nd round.

Warmack. But then again I take Warmack over Fisher and Geno. Top 3 player in the draft and I don't think any of the QB are top 20 players.
I all so have a very hard time seeing Arizona going back to back OL in round 1 and 2.

I like Warmack a lot but not before Geno and Joekel and he is on the same level as Fisher IMHO

Warmack had a so-so combine but the tape rules. He's my guy if Geno is gone.

Some evaluators have even moved Fisher ahead of Joeckel. If they don't go QB in the 1st, then Fisher would definitely be my pick

I think its VERY close with those two but Joeckel is just a notch above Fisher. I do LOVE Fisher though

Fisher had to protect more often for 5 and 7 step drops than Joeckel. Joeckel had to improvise more often if Johnny took off. Fisher displays more physical play than Joeckel does.
Joeckel is going to be a plus pass protector, but you are not sure what you get in the ground game.
Fisher is going to be a plus pass protector and you are more likely to get more value in the ground game.
That is the thought process of those pushing Fisher over Joeckel.
