A few things this tells me..

1. Smith went for a price that I certainly would not have wanted to pay..

2. This pretty much ensures an OT going #1..

3. Geno Smith being available at #8 is a real possibility.. Personally, I do not want to take him, but the possibility is there..

I think that we will take Geno if the Cardinals pass on him.

I'd honestly rather take a risk with Geno than trade for Alex Smith. Envisioning our offense with him is much more exciting than the other options (Alex Smith or Fitzpatrick).

I still think the bills should cut fitz to clear up future cap space. Draft a qb and run the risk of landing one on the 1st or 2nd rd. The good news is 1 less team that needs a qb early in the draft.

I honestly feel BAD for Chiefs fans at this point. This was supposed to be the year of years where they finally take a QB in the first, and they just end up taking another crappy vet retread to be mired in this hellish pit of mediocrity we Bills fans can relate too all too well.

That said.

GENO SMITH GENO SMITH GENO SMIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIITH!!!!!!!!!!!

Please Buddy, I'm begging you, ALL will be forgiven if you draft him.

Please football gods, please, let the stars align for us for ONCE and let us get him. Laughing

And tro-lolo-lolo if the Cards pick up Cassel, Cassel and Kolb in a starting QB battle? That's like "who sucks the least" that they had last year, except arguably WORSE.

Not really Buddy style and I believe most on here would oppose this. Obviously anything can happen during the draft but I am fairly confident that Geno will fall to 8 unless the Raiders or Browns shock the football world.

It;s funny because one of the first things I heard after this, is that the Cardinals are somewhat interested in Matt Cassel when he gets released.

The football gods want us to have Geno and stop sucking.

It's gotta be that right? I mean 15 years is long enough right?
