I'd be ok with it unless Star fell down because of the injury issue. _________________

I know the combine obliterated his first-round stock, but I'm still high on Banks from Miss. St. I think he's a long, athletic corner who could definitely have a nice career with the Colts.
Many have talked about turning him into a safety, and I guess I'm the minority now of wanting to leave him at CB. He's a great talent. _________________ Building The Monster |

He ran a 4.61, and that really, really hurt his stock. _________________ Building The Monster |

CB is an interesting position. Obviously Grigson puts a tonne of emphasis on it. I see Vontae Davis as a bonafide starter in this league. He's a #1. But opposite him is a problem.
So you're looking at FA or Draft. Someone like Jerraud Powers (if he's passing the medical), Cary Williams, Mike Jenkins or Sheldon Brown could probably fit in.
An interesting player would be Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie. Grigson was part of the front office that brought him to Philly. Talented player, needs to be coached, but we have a leader of men and a DB coach leading our squad.
When it comes to the draft, I think we could get a player opposite Vontae in round 3. Therefore, I'm looking at CB in round 1 only if the right value is there. The value is Desmond Trufant (I'm really high on this guy). Great senior bowl, nice combine. I'm not as high on Rhodes, but he could end up being a value pick at 24. _________________

If Rhodes is there at 24 at this point, I don't see our staff passing on him.
He's a long, athletic corner who excels in bump-and-run coverage. I love his jams. He punishes the receiver off the LOS, and he does an excellent job of disrupting the timing of the play.
Rhodes and Vontae is scary duo at corner moving forward. Two physical CBs who are going to give quarterbacks headaches. _________________ Building The Monster |

At this point I would pass on Banks. I normally dont pay much attention to 40 times but 4.61 is just horrible for a corner. I would reconsider if he greatly improved that number at his pro day. It wouldnt bother me so much if we were still using a cover 2. I want Cary Williams (proven player in our system). However if we go the draft route I would say either Rhodes or Trufant in round 1. If we waited until round 3 Alford would be my choice.
After watching a few of Grigsons interviews I have a feeling that he might be targeting someone we dont see. His comment about paying attention to players that were rated really high then fall for various reasons, really caught my attention. _________________

Not totally high on Trufant to the Colts.
He will be a really nice prospect in a zone scheme. I don't like him in Pags' scheme moving forward. He is alright in bump-and-run, but he's a guy I'd love to throw in zones and let him just make plays on the ball. He's got great ball skills. I just want him to be a bit more active in the run.
Rhodes fits our scheme perfectly. But yeah, I hope, he does make the fall. _________________ Building The Monster |

| Its been awhile since I have posted on this website. However, I feel as if Tavon Austin somehow landed to us, that would be a no brainer. He would be a great receiver to blossom with Luck. If he isn't there, I am a huge fan of Robert Woods. I think with his athletism that it could really be a hit. Eventually, this receiver could take over Wayne's spot. Either or and I will be happy with the first pick. Damontre Moore could be the defensive steal of the draft at pick 24. He could be the guy everybody wonders why nobody else picked him up. Or of course we could go with Barrett Jones and forget about that guard spot for the next 10 years because he will do his job, not a sexy pick but would help the team out. |

| Aaron Dobson reportedly ran a 4.3 and a 4.2 at his pro day. I now like him even more! |

The draft should be very interesting. We are truly in a position to take the BA player. I wouldn't mind to see either Hankins or Jenkins for our dline in round 1 and OLB Jamie Collins in round 3. _________________
