Bills not expected to tender RFA WR David Nelson, who missed all but one game last season because of injury. Nelson expected to be healthy.

This is awful news if true. Nelson was a great 3rd option for us and was poised for a great year last year before his injury. Staff must like Graham enough to move on, I sure don't. _________________

So frustrating. This is not the right move... it clarifies that we must be preparing for a big splash in FA/Draft in terms of WR. _________________ MY PS3 ID: Tyroz21

C'mon guys. You're excepting mediocrity. A great 3rd option? Is there a such thing as a great 3rd option on a team that always picks in the top 10 of the draft? _________________

As much as I hate this, Stevie is expected to play more in the slot this year. Nelson would of got less playing time. _________________

I can see us going with a WR in FA and early in the draft too. I would be ecstatic if we could get a gem who could come in and contribute right away in the 2nd-3rd rounds _________________

a guy who catches 60 passes in his 2nd year after being undrafted is far from mediocre. He didn't have the build to be on the outside but he was great in the slot. Every team needs a good slot receiver...and unless we actually have two options on the outside moving Stevie there solves nothing. _________________

It's funny. As soon as the news that they weren't going to tender Nelson dropped, everyone became a hater of 86. They didn't tender him, because it looks that they want to lock him up long term (or possibly have a desire to). If/when he signs a deal, everyone going to be a fan of his again? Lol. They didn't tender him as a UFA b/c it probably would have cost more than they would have liked. A longer term deal with incentives allow him to be retained with lower risk.

Anything to keep T.J. away from the field until he grows a new pair of hands.
Please. _________________

So much for that. Appears that the Bills will indeed let David Nelson walk.
I wonder if we're going to add a WR this offseason? LOL _________________

I like this move. He was injured and the bills are moving forward with Marrones players. Im all about upgrading at Wr and dumping mediocre players.
Also not that it matter but who is to say the bills don't sign him with a contract cheaper then the tender. $1.3 million is a lot for that guy for one year. _________________

I really hope he doesn't end up in New England. _________________
