I vote yes on the Maclin trade.
We're giving up a guy who clearly is not in our future plans (losing nothing). This trade is us moving back in the draft, acquiring another pick, and a pro bowl caliber player that is still in his prime, addresses a position of need, and is from Saint Louis to boot.
Go for it. _________________

I'm going to leave this for another 24 hours in hopes we come to a concensus. _________________

The determining factor of this trade is, how many receivers do we feel is better than Maclin in the draft?
If it's a big number, then don't do the trade. If it's a rather small number, odds go with the trade. _________________

If Maclin was in this draft, he'd be the first WR taken, easily. Do it.
Plus, he;d be happy here and is in his prime. Do it. _________________

If we do this trade chances are we will need to cut Mikell in order to stay under the cap to claim Maclin's contract and sign our draft picks. Keep that in mind. _________________

Would you guys be interested in Frostee Rucker? run stopping DE....
The Browns are trying to move up in any round and are willing to add a pick to go along Rucker if need be.
Rucker ranked first in PFF's run stopping stats in 2011 for 43 DE's, but he's alos big enough to play UT. He's started at RDE for us last year and has played both DE spots and rushed from the DT position.
Would you guys have any interest? Feel free to PM for quickest contact.

Yeah... No... Appreciate the offer but our d-line is the last thing that needs upgrades. _________________

Because Maclin doesn't fill our need of a #1 WR and doesn't alter our draft plans. What are we gaining?
We're pushing Givens to the bench which is entirely unnecessary and not filling a need. _________________
