| 42 tds to six ints means that the guy knows what it feels like to put up those numbers unlike Gabbert who never came close to putting those numbers up even as Big 12 QB where everybody's gunning. |

Why don't we just go sign Case Keenum? He threw 48 TDs and 5 INTs his senior season before going undrafted last year. He also is the all time TD leader in NCAA history. _________________

| Sounds like we need to sign him up. Geno played against some tough (Okla Oklast, Tex,K-st,Ttech)competition while Keenum played in the conf usa. In 2011 when LSU had the # 1 defense with Mo Claiborne on one side and the Honeybadger on the other side Geno threw for 400+ yards against them its tough to argue with that. |

Case Keenum faced plenty of BCS schools. His last game ever, he put up over 500 yards against a Big Ten team. _________________

38 of 65 (58.5%)
463 yds
2 tds, 2 ints
Lost 21-47
Had 4 passes that traveled more than 10 yds from the LoS.
Three 12 yarders and 1 very nice 69 yd pass to Austin that had velocity and touch that traveled 30 yds from the LoS. _________________ People who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.

But if we're going to boil down the reason we should draft someone down to just stats, because Blaine didn't put up good enough number, then it stands to reason that value wise, Keenum would be better value.
The discussion isn't there to say that Keenum is a better prospect, but rather to shoot down the idea that stats tell enough of the story. _________________

Anybody have the combine numbers for the pass rushers? I can't watch right now.
EDIT: Found the FF page with it. _________________

That's really unfortunate - tough being that big, especially on the heart. Hopefully it turns out to be minor.
With Austin backing up his electric play with obnoxious combine numbers, I hope he's somehow still there at 33. _________________

Teams didn't want Aaron Rodgers high in the first either, Miami and St Louis passed on Matt Ryan. Teams pass on good players all time for lots of reasons, just be happy there mistakes can benefit your own team. |
