I have been hard on this kid. I was wrong.
Just watching this changes my opinion of him a lot. I jumped the gun, the kid gets it, I wouldn't mind if he were the pick now, even though I don't prefer it. I was impressed. _________________ Mini-mock

Hey Toofax:
Don't be too hard on yourself. I always say that the draft process is like trying to find your wife or girlfriend at Spring Break. There are too many pretty girls to decide without being able to delve deeper. The same thing goes for the players. Pattersin, Ansah, Womack, Jones, Vaccarro, Teo and on and on.
Teo's body of work is better than his bad National Championship game and catfish drama. He got some bad advice about handling the situation and whenyou get down to it, can he play football and is his overall character good? I would say yes to both. He would be a great looking Steeler for the next 12 years. He's not Willis or a young Ray Lewis, but he will be a very good one. _________________ "Being a Steeler fan starts when the sperm meets the egg!" -- Unknown Steeler Fan |

Im not a huge fan of taking Teo in the sense that i would think we had a premier player - but I do believe he is a guy that will be player in the league for 10+ years as a solid contribute. Cant ask for much more than that.
So if he was the choice, wouldn't be ecstatic, but would be far from upset. |

Oh well as long as you're comfortable with it Troofax and seeing is how you don't overreact then of course it's ok to pick him now.
I'd base everything off of the hoax, the interview and your opinion if I were the GM. _________________ Do something you love so much you'd gladly do it for free, learn to do it so well, people will gladly pay you for it. - Walt Disney |
