Next year? Probably not
Long term? He has much more upside |
Disagree wholeheartedly. Alex Smith might be the most overhyped QB I've seen in years. People continue to act like he is some stud when he's not. IMO it would be the complete opposite because unlike Smith there would not be a learning curve for Foles. Nick would instantly step in and run Andy Reids offense day one of mini.camps/OTA. Not every WCO has the same terminology, schemes and formations. I'd easily take Foles in KC over Smith any day of the week. Now if you are talking about both players playing for another club altogether you would be 100% correct. Just not with KC. |
Ha....I agree...why did I write that?
I wasn't thinking that part of it, was thinking about what Foles needs to work on and that they would be close to the same level with that next year most likely.

In my defense I opened it up to write it then before I did I let the dog in and got another beer....had to take time for something that profound haha |
Damn not only did you blame it on need for alcohol but your dog? That's classic. Bet he use to eat your homework when you were younger too? _________________

| Alex Smith is a little bit underrated here. He was near perfect before the injury and better than Foles right now. Foles has more potential though. |

If we can trade Foles and sign Smith FA I would be happy, but then I left Never Never land _________________

| I don't want Alex as I think he's a system guy but he did nothing wrong in San Fran. If nothing else he's accurate and makes good decisions. As things are I'm happy with Foles, Dixon and Vick. |

Foles running an up-tempo, Patriot-like offense really intrigues me. However, if we can get a third for him I'd take that in a heartbeat. As for Alex Smith? No need to acquire him. _________________

Cheifs are getting smith, might ensure we keep Foles.
If he is here I expect him to win the QB job. _________________

The only downside is, No Geno for Chiefs. Therefore he may be here if Chip likes him enough. _________________
