Probably my favorite draft I've seen on here so far. Only minor quibbles I have are amerson, who is easily my one of my least favorite cb prospects, and I wish we could solve our NT issue before round 5. I also don't care for Robinson as I don't think he can make the transition, but in rd 6 why not take a chance _________________

Why is everyone so high on amerson? I'm curious, because it seems like a lot of people really like him and it makes me feel like I'm missing something _________________

yeah, i remember seeing that he had a monstrous 2011, but completely fell apart in 2012. I didn't pay too much attention to him last year though since he wasn't in the draft. Most of the stuff i've seen of him is from this year. I guess this is a case of the production doesn't match the talent and we are trying to buy high talent at a low price rather than being totally in love with the prospect? _________________

Amerson doesn't have the hips to change directions like Sherman does. He's more of a straight line speed guy. He had 13 picks in his sophomore year, and was looked at as a possible top pick last year, but he got beat a lot even in his sophomore year. This year, he still had 5 picks. But he's just one of those guys where the stats don't match the tape. Some scouts have suggested he should switch to FS because his best asset is his size and ball skills, but the guy's an absolutely terrible tackler and would be a big liability as the last line of defense. _________________

Well, plenty of CBs with questionable coverage abilities have had long productive careers in the NFL. His ball skills alone will make him an attractive option. Can't wait for the DB drills. I think that's my favorite day of the combine. _________________
