REDSKINS NAME MIKE MCDANIEL AS WIDE RECEIVERS COACH
http://m.washingtonpost.com/blogs/football-insider/wp/2013/02/23/redskins-promote-offensive-assistant-mike-mcdaniel-to-receivers-coach/
We promoted Offensive assistant Mike McDaniel to recievers coach. Seems like a good hire, keep the hire in house.
| Quote: | | McDaniel, who will turn 30 on March 6, has served as an offensive assistant for Washington the last two seasons. Prior to joining the Redskins' staff, McDaniel held coaching internships with the Houston Texans and Denver Broncos. He was an offensive assistant with Houston from 2006 to ’08, working under now-Redskins offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan. |

| Smart hire IMO....He has worked with Kyle for some time now and knows the offense. No learning curve. Already familiar with the players. Good relationship with Kyle..... Seems like a win to me |

| Man he's young. Hopefully he'll be able to relate to the players well. Just hope they take him seriously. |
