That's not a bad idea but for the price of Sean Smith, we could have Laron Landry or for half the price we could resign Clemons.

Kevin Coyle is why I'll be confident in whomever we sign in FA. You know Ireland is listening to the man. Look what he did with Jones (promising rookie to Pro-Bowl caliber.. almost), Clemons (below average to above average FS), Smith (average to above average).

Sean Smith is a CB and nothing but a CB. He cannot tackle anywhere near well enough to be a safety, he is terrible in space and in zone. Those are the top three skills to be a FS. He is a press man CB, and is VERY good when he is asked to press. I think Nolan Carroll/PS level CB's across from him for much of the year scared Coyle to press.
