Patrick is a #3 corner ON A GOOD DAY. He is terrible, but if you need a #4 CB I guess you could get him. He only costs us 600k. On surprised about DT though.. I liked him. _________________

There is no room for him though, the Patriots have at least 5 TEs on the roster right now. [Fells will be released though most likely] |
Kind of off topic, but what do you think will happen with Hoomanawanui? Will he stick on as a 4th TE or will he leave (he's a RFA IIRC) |
Since he also contributes as a FB and played over Fells last season [which indicted the Patriots liked him] i expect the Patriots to keep him as 4th TE on the roster.
He could get a pretty low original draft pick tender which was a 5th round pick. _________________

Considering Heath Miller is unlikely to play this season, I hope Pittsburgh grabs Thomas. He's got some extremely underrated hands. Ben would love to have that in Thomas since Miller is done for this season. _________________ Come Follow My Oakland Multi-Sport Franchise! |

Hmm, thought it was an ACL tear that sidelined him? Can't be THAT bad, can it? |
He had microfracture surgery. But he was on our PUP so I'd say its a good sign for him.

I expect Hooman back and Fells to be released. I like Hooman more than Fells and he was getting PT and should be cheaper. _________________

Johnny Patrick was a player I wanted the Raiders to draft. Can't be too good if he got released though. _________________

Patrick looked like a stud in preseason his rookie year. Battled injuries that whole season, and played like garbage last season. Don't know what to think about him, I wont miss him though. That's for sure. _________________

Most if not all Saints fans aren't too happy with losing Thomas. He's been behind Shockey and Graham on the DC. I have no doubt he could be a #1 on a team that needed a TE. _________________

Given the fact that Chris Carr and Greg Gatson started at times last year, i'm not sure it could get all that much worse...but it's not an ideal situation _________________
