That is true, but I think that it means less when you are using that philosophy at the very top of the draft. You think JJ Watt and Julio Jones could have been placed in a system where they wouldn't find success?
I don't like Cordelle Patterson but if he puts up an off the charts combine then you have to reach on him. I view him as a non 1st round talent, late 2nd to early 3rd. But a great combine would IMO warrant him being a top 20 reach. |
