What are the Jets going to do about the gaping hole they have at the DT spot? While the Jets may have two of the more talented DE's in the league, perhaps the best duo, the DT spot has been decaying with depth and talent. First we lose Jason Ferguson, now we lost Josh Evans (who was nothing to rave about but at least decent). The Jets are left with James Reed, Alan Harper, FA Lance Legree, and Rookie Sione Pouha to compete for the starting spot alongside Robertson. In my opinion, Robertson's success came from Ferguson and vice-versa. If there is not another DT that can complement Robertson, our defense will slide a little. What do you guys think? Should this be a concern? _________________ NFL: New York Jets <Kerry Rhodes>

Ferguson's production came from DRob and the rest. DRob was constantly double teamed almost all game long. Harper and Reed will provide nice relief and likely Legree and Pouha will battle it out for the starting position. It's not a big deal. We have 3 Pro Bowl DLinemen. If you honestly think Ferguson made the rest of our line that much better you may want to re-watch some of the games last year. He's not bad and played well but he generally was left 1-1 most of the time. He's not as special or as big a deal as some people make him out to be.
It's not a concern at all really IMO unless DRob (knocks on wood) gets injured. _________________ "You pass to score points, and you run to win the championship, and that's why we'll be playing Defense" - Herman Edwards

In my opinion Dewayne Robertson is getting paid entirely too much money _________________ Once bitten, Twice shy. |

Sione Pouha will be a great run stuffer. |
