You may joke, but I would not at all be opposed to taking a QB in the second round or later and starting him no matter what. If he proves himself to be your franchise guy, then perfect.

If he ends up failing, then the Bills will probably be in a good position to go all in next year for a real franchise QB while getting a cheap backup who now has 1 year of starting experience in the NFL.
