The Resignees
Chase Coffman
Drew Davis
Michael Palmer
Will Svitek
Todd McClure (1 yr. min.)
Garrett Reynolds
Lawrence Sidbury
Vance Walker
Brent Grimes (@ min. to see what he can do after injury)
Robert McClain
Chris Hope
Let Walk/Retire/Cut
Tony Gonzalez
William Moore
John Abraham
Michael Turner
Sam Baker
Stephen Nicholas
FA Signings
Michael Johnson
Ryan Clady
Phillip Wheeler
Glen Dorsey
The Draft
1. John Jenkins DT/NT Georgia
If we're ever going to switch to a 3/4, even part time, we need a gap eater
2. Larry Warford OG Kentucky
Big and strong, immediate starter with the expected move of Konz to center
3. Baccari Rambo FS Georgia
I think William Moore walks (sadly)and if he does we'll need someone to start, Rambo can do that if Chris Hope isn't up to it.
4. Dion Sims TE Michigan St.
Let him Palmer and Coffman duke it out for Tony's spot, would love Escobar, but I think he'll be gone by the pick
4comp. Kevin Reddick MLB UNC
Comp for Dent, plus he can cover, that move to a 3/4 requires 2 MLB, could be Spoon and this guy holding it down.
5. Mike Gillislee RB Florida
As much as I hate Florida this kid could be special
6. Ace Sanders WR/KR/PR South Carolina
Just what we need
7. Vince Williams MLB Florida St.
Depth...what more can i say?
7comp1. George Winn RB Cinci
Trusting scar on this one, and this late I wouldn't be angry about it
7comp2. Joe Kruger DE Utah
A 3/4 DE who is used to playing DE in the 3/4
7comp3. Sanders Commings CB/S Georgia
Depth in the secondary
UDFA
Jeff Tuel QB WashU
Christian Robinson LB Georgia
Zach Rogers WR Tenn
Emory Blake WR Auburn
Jahleel Addae S Cent. Michigan
Aaron Hester CB UCLA
I would do a depth chart, but I'm bored now...enjoy!!!! _________________

I thought it was good but somewhat unrealistic. Sims and Rambo have too much character concern. Warford lasting that long is iffy. Still solid. I LOVE Zach Rogers as an UDFA _________________

call me a UGA fan, but Rambo's character issues aren't real issues... could go Sudfeld instead of Sims I guess _________________

He was suspended for drugs. Of Rocht said concern I think TD says concern. JMO though (I know the story btw) _________________

Several reasons. Why let the only consistent player in the secondary. William Moore, walk? If you think Bacarri Rambo will ever be as good as Moore than you need to go do some research. Glen Dorsey? No thanks. He's a mediocre pass rusher and sat out almost all of last season. Would much rather draft a younger DE in this stacked DE class than pick up a guy like Dorsey. The move to a 3-4 is just a rumor atm. I believe this team is built better as a 4-3 team. Also Gilleslee is the last RB in the top 5 rounds I would want. Guy isa future 2nd runningback when we need a load carrier. _________________

First off, I don't want to let Moore go, but when your "most consistent" player in the secondary is a bit injury prone you have issues...agree?
I'll absolutely take that bet on Rambo being as good as Moore, watched both of them in college and to be honest Rambo's probably a step above...you might need to do some research, Rambo is a big hitter with ball skills, bites on PA a bit more than I'd like but takes good angles and is a solid tackler over all, kid is a ball hawk!
Michael Johnson is the FA I got to add pass rush, Dorsey I see as a rotational guy at DT in the 4/3 we currently run, he's another body with talent and with how our run d looked often last year, any little bit can help.
Gillislee doesn't look like a top tier back to me either, but neither did Alfred Morris... Truth of the mater is Gillislee did more than decent against SEC defenses, behind a NFL line I think he'll be even better. Truth is any one we're taking is a stop gap for when Gurley, Marshall and Yeldon come out, those guys are top notch... _________________

Most unrealistic offseason I have ever seen.
Michael Johnson and Ryan Clady? There is absolutely no way we will have cap room to satisfy the massive contracts they will command. They are almost guaranteed to get franchised anyways.
Brent Grimes signed for vet minimum? There is 0% chance that will ever happen.
Cutting Moore and Abraham are poor decisions. Rambo won't last to our 3rd. Kruger for sure won't last until the 7th. _________________

awful and only realistic if you are eating the same brownies that Rambo was.
Rambo-FS
Moore-SS
Rambo would be awful in Moore's spot. Id rather have Moore for 12 games a year than Rambo for 16 _________________

I'll take that it's a tad unrealistic, sometimes you gotta dream though _________________

To be honest Rambo projects better as a SS in the league. His ball skills are very suspect and he doesn't have elite speed. Watch key games in which he goes up for balls he should have intercepted and either dropped or got out battled by lesser names WR's. (south Carolina, Bama, GT). He will hit and try to strip the ball from you which is why I think he gains a bit more weight and muscle and is played at the SS position. TO be honest, UGA had two SS in Rambo and WIlliams. Teams that threw over the top of us killed us. USC was the first to expose our bad safety play. Rambo had that great season as a a Junior but he fell off last year and as you can see his stock really slipped. I def would not want him as a FS in the league. _________________
