How are we for cap space?
And Bobbie Williams still hasn't been cut yet despite the consensus being that he should be _________________

I agree that the consensus seems to be that they should be cut. Can't we do it? _________________

It needs to be somebody with some power on the staff (i.e. GM, AGM or capologist given that they are the only "real" positions) _________________

They won't accept a cut coming from the Strength and Conditioning coach? WHAT KIND OF LEAGUE IS THIS?! _________________

Okay I'll cut him now. I've been busy the last couple of days. _________________

James Harrison received no contract offers
We might have been able to swing him over to the dark side |

We still would've had to be within whatever his contract range was anyway, which might've been something like 7-8m _________________

Yeah, you still needed to be within the designated AAV to have the contract accepted.
Cliff Avril (who I represented) received some offers, but none were within the allowed range so he is going to be in the Shark Tank. It'll be funny if he ends up getting more in there than teams were willing to offer him as a Tier 1 FA _________________

He'll probably be back in the TA once the bidding wars get started. What is it 6 bids and being within the range of the franchise tag? That should happen with him pretty easily once teams have cap to spare and are looking to make a splash.
Oh and to answer your earlier question about our cap situation. Refer back to a few pages back where Mcdni listed the projected cap once we released Williams. It stands at just above $10.2m at the moment. _________________

OFFICIAL DECISION: Sebastian Vollmer will be moved to Tier 3. A new AAV will be established and a new hint will be given.
Please re-submit your bids for him once Tier 3 bidding opens up. Apologies for the confusion, but because of how late the hint came out we figured this was the fairest decision... |

Have we decided to only target a few small salaried players in the shark tank??
Mainly Ellerbe?
I know this ffmd is tough since we are kind of bored with no bids in free agency, but I think we will have a solid draft to fix any holes. |

Yeah I think that would be the best bet. Tbh it's more fun, imo anyway, if we do it similar to what we think the Ravens would do irl. Tbh I'd rather we made a few smart signings in FA and then focus our energy on the draft. I think that is what the Ravens would do in our situation. _________________

Sit tight everyone, this ride is about to begin.
We have our strategy and the implementation shall begin right when the tank opens tomorrow at 8am.
Also what does everyone think about potentially targeting both Ellerbe, McKinnie AS WELL AS and Maualuga with cheap bids, that way we could increase our chances of adding an ILB. Maualuga is a guy that we've talked about on this forum. He was pretty good before this past season... and he'd reduce our need at ILB. I like Bynes, but I'm not a fan of McClain. We could double dip in the draft, but we may not be in position to have that happen. The above strategy could make it so we would've have to.
Also Maualuga is likely to be at his cheapest point while other more prominent names are still on the market... we might be able to sneak a bid in there ninja style. Or perhaps a bid on him will reduce the likelihood that someone sees our bid on Ellerbe.
What do you guys think? _________________
