Besides mocks, charles woodson, and draft prospects there isn't a whole lot goin on around here, sooo i present the question: who is out most underrated player?
I'll add a poll to this later, or make a new thread with a poll if i cant add one, but i believe this is going to be something of discussion before we can/should take a poll.
To get the ball rolling Ill throw out a player from the 3 levels of both sides of the ball.
For offense.
James Jones, the guys stepped up huge and was a td machine this year but i dont think anyone would ever really say watch out for JJ, even though he is rather dangerous.
Marshall Newhouse. Newhouse is a backup LT who's had to start week in and out in a division w Peppers, Allen, and a good Detroit d-line. The guy never lost us a game and holds his own for the most part, against the good ones, and hes a back up(cant stress that enough really).
Aaron Rodgers. TROLLLLOLOLOLOLOL
Defense
Ryan Pickett. I've seen this mentioned a couple times recently that he may be our most underrated player. He's old but still getting it done. Never gets a lot of love really but never really gets dogged on.
AJ HAWK. (My choice) AJ gets hated on week in and out, for the simple reason that he isn't Patrick Willis. Well, no one but Patrick is Willis(wut?). Truth be told AJ isn't the best ILB but he isn't a liability and is a very solid player for us, but gets the short end of the stick from fans constantly. This is why AJ is my current pick for most underrated but that could def change throughout this discussion.
LBNL...... Charles Woodson. TROLLOLOLOL HAHAHA JK WTF WHOCUTTHECHEESE.
For real though, I can't really pick a back end player who's really underrated, they're all kinda on the burner here and there and all seem to play good and bad sometimes so I'll leave this one open for someone else to fill need be.
Let the games begin. _________________ clown |

underrated?
this thread should be dedicated to ST's
Masthay is one of the main guys that come to mind
Ryan Taylor & Rob Francois are all really key guys as well (Bush also, although hes strictly a ST guy at this point after too many failed defensive stints)
Crabtree does a lot of dirty work for out offense as well
if you are asking about underrated core players, then i would have to say a guy like Burnett, or TJ Lang

not by us... this kid is a stud & we hyped him accordingly this year
if your are talking about a corner, I think Sam is much more underrated considering how well he played coming off injury the 2nd parts of this past season |

For the sake of discussion- John Kuhn. Yes he is paid well for what he does, but he is an excellent pass protector, can catch out of the backfield (not that we throw his way often), and is a key player on the special teams units.
Guy just plays and plays hard. _________________

| Im gonna say Sam shields. Feel like he was playing at top ten level to end the year. Think he has that ability. Will probably get paid more than some think this off season. |
