Since 1936 there is only one year of the draft that no RB's were taken in the 1st round. Average since 2000 is 2.92 in the 1st.
2008 there were no WR's drafted in the 1st. Average in the 1st since 2000 is 4.
Which teams grab a RB or WR in the 1st this year?

There will definitely be at least one WR taken in rd 1 I think. Probably 2-3, with an outside shot at 4. How guys run will make a big difference.
I'll be pretty surprised if a RB goes rd 1. Lacy maybe if he runs real well at the combine. _________________

I think that Lacy is talented enough to get drafted in the bottom half of the 1st. Denver/GB are potential landing spots if they address other needs in free agency.
I think Lacy to GB goes down and he beasts for them. He'd be perfect to power through guys as a change of pace from their air it out offense.
And there will be 3-5 receivers drafted in the 1st round this year.
Patterson/Dobson/Woods(with a speedy combine)/Hunter/Allen/Hopkins

all have the potential to go in the 1st round...and I know i'm forgetting some sleeper WR from a small school, I forget his name. |

I'm banking on no RB's, with 3-5 WR's (Patterson, Allen, Austin/Hopkins with an outside shot at Quintin Patton as well, dont think Woods fits the 1st round bill), i'm guessing 4 go in the 1st. _________________

I can see 3 RB's go in round 1. Lacy, Lattimore, and Tavon Austin. I could see a team "converting" Austin to RB while still playing him at WR. Lattimore is recovering well according to some report that was posted a while ago, and supposedly is on track to be ready by week 1. _________________ Kate Upton for sexy President!!!

I could see 4 WR going in the first round. What are the chances we see 4 DL in the top 10?

I think we see 4-5 WRs go (Patterson, Allen, Hopkins, Hunter and maybe Austin) and 1 RB go (Lacy).
Teams I could see potentially targetting a WR in round 1: San Diego, Miami, Carolina, St. Louis, Washington, Minnesota, Indy, Houston, New England.
Teams I could see potentially tagetting a RB in round 1: Green Bay, Denver, Atlanta _________________

I think the Vikings will be looking for WR in the 1st assuming there is a reasonable value at WR at pick #23. Patterson, Allen, or Hopkins might hold enough value there. _________________

I don't think a RB goes in the first, but Keenan Allen is a first round lock, IMO. _________________
