- I highly doubt we move to a 3-4 this year. Our current personnel is more suited for a 4-3, and we don't have enough money or draft picks to make a smooth transition that easily right now. Just my opinion. I think next year would be easier if the staff decides to go that route.
- Not sure I would restructure Huff & DHB. I don't know if we will cut DHB, but it's very possible given his skillset flaws & large contract. Restructuring just pushes money back, and to me, he's just not worth it.
- I like the FA signings. Realistic & affordable. Porter seems like a probable possibility, especially since we showed interest in him last year. Not sure what Barnett will command at this point in his career, but I like him as a stopgap. Said this before & I'll say it again, I highly doubt Myers gets a large deal from anyone. Serviceable TE's are not highly sought after. Myers is average at best. We can bring him back for a reasonable deal if we want him IMO.
- Draft looks reasonable. I could live with it & your selections make sense for a 3-4, but I don't see us not taking a secondary player by the time the draft is over. I think everyone likes Jarvis Jones' skillset but it's understandable why some don't want him because of his health. He's scary & intriguing at the same time.
Overall, I agree with your ideas here. _________________
