There is no way that this team will pay $7M for Webster to stay. Either he restructures (a converstation which I fully expect is currently happening), or he's gone. It's not like another team is going to be paying him anything close to that after the season he is coming off of. _________________

Yea if we can get him down to $4-5 mil a year I don't think he can say no to that... _________________

Yup. Any non draft money will be spent on re-signing players. No chance of any FA activity of note. |

I think they will throw a big contract at KP but i think it will be more incentive laced or have less guaranteed, sort of like what they gave T2 last season. If he can stay healthy, he is a huge asset to our defense. However, its hard to spend money on someone is only on the field 50% of the season.
I agree with many - Diehl is gone, Webster is gone or taking a huge pay cut, Tuck will be asked to take a cut, and Eli may even be asked to restructure again, which I am against. I think Bass could even be asked to take a cut. |

The Giants already signed TT and Webster needs to be cut because he's garbage and not worth even half of what he's supposed to make next year. Rolle will be playing corner and I expect a top 5 pick on a CB and/or F/A.
edit- thought this post was from today, but was actually before Thomas was resigned
